Becoming a client

The wealth management service that we offer to our clients comprises of five stages;

1. Review Meetings (Initial and on-going)

This is a face-to-face meeting without obligation to you. We use the meeting to understand what is important to you. Our priority is to develop a deep understanding of your goals and objectives to ensure we can offer you appropriate solutions that fit perfectly with your financial requirements.

2. Analysis and Evaluation

Expert analysis and evaluation in order to identify areas where we can assist you in achieving your goals or where we believe we can add value to your existing arrangements. When undertaking this review we will also take into consideration your attitude to risk and stated objectives.

3. Planning Meetings and Recommendations

Once we have completed our analysis and research we will meet with you to discuss our bespoke, recommended solutions, which will be designed to satisfy your personal financial objectives. Some recommendations may address the current needs that have arisen through our research whilst others may aim to develop your existing plans. Either way, we will aim to provide the best possible returns on your money. Recommendations are always confirmed in writing and supported by personalised illustrations and key facts documentation.

4. Implementation

Once you are happy with our recommendations our experienced administrative team will ensure they are efficiently implemented as agreed.

5. On-going review and client service charter

As future needs and objectives change over time we believe that a fundamental part of effective wealth management is regular face-to-face reviews of your arrangements. Only in this way can we ensure that our recommendations and advice remain ‘fit for purpose’. We work hard to understand the specific needs of each of our clients and to develop a bespoke service charter as outlined overleaf.

We aim for our clients to achieve the best possible returns on their investment

The value of an investment with St. James's Place will be directly linked to the performance of the funds you select and the value can therefore go down as well as up. You may get back less than you invested.
